House Bill 4660, Public Act 204 of 2003 – Protects the families of Michigan’s military troops from utility shutoffs while on active duty.
House Bill 4826, Public Act 304 of 2003 – Election consolidation for local and school elections saving tax dollars and encourage larger voter turnout.
House Bill 4792, Public Act 211 of 2004 – Child support law allowing a payment plan for parent’s in difficult economic times.
House Bill 5372, Public Act 569 of 2004 – Specifies stricter penalties if an individual is arrested for violating court-ordered child support payments.
House Bill 4638, Public Act 186 of 2005 – Revised a portion of the Michigan Code of Military Justice to apply to all members of the Michigan National Guard while on active State duty. Specifically providing guidelines for the unlawful destruction of certain property, and contemptuous language against public officials.
House Bill 5620, Public Act 98 of 2006 – Expands the current Michigan Veterans Memorial Park by ½ acre for a monument honoring recipients of the Purple Heart.
House Bill 5819, Public Act 371 of 2006 – Safeguards the rights of property owners against public agencies abuse in the dispossession and acquiring of certain “blighted” property. Part of the Eminent Domain package sponsored by Rep. Leon Drolet

House Bill 4563 – The repeal of the Michigan Broadband Development Authority Act. March of 2005 and reintroduced in September of 2007.
House Bill 5001 – Requiring regular, independent and forensic audits of Blue Cross Blue Shield. June 2005 and April of 2008.
House Bill 5770 – Increase the minimum age of operating a personal watercraft from 14 to 16 years. February 2008.
House Bill 5838 – Allow taxpayers to deduct from Michigan taxable income early distributions made from an IRA used for medical expenses. March 2006 and June 2007.
House Bill 6144 – To allow a student enrolled in higher education to be able to receive same tuition grants and credits when transferring to another reputable institution within proper guideline standards. May 2008.
